Sugar Test
I am in the phase of pregnancy that I personally dread the most. The horrible gestational diabetes test. Fortunately this is the early one with minimal blood draws but to me that is still bad. I get extreme anxiety with blood draws. I know that it is one of those necessary things but it doesn't make it any easier. My last pregnancy I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and I was only one point over normal. It was not a pleasant experience with blood testing before and after meals it was my own personal hell. So I am hoping that everything comes back normal this time. The extra stress last pregnancy was almost too much for me. Both my son and I never had diabetes or issues and after speaking to my current high risk doctor she felt I was incorrectly diagnosed.

Crazy Camp Week
This week has been so busy!!! So busy in fact that I just realized my last post on the blog was on Saturday. This is insane crazy for me because I am pretty consistent with my posts. My reason for my lack of awareness is my oldest is doing Karate Camp this week from 8:30-3 and then he is doing VBS from 6:30-8:45 so it has been a lot of running around but fortunately he is having so much fun. I am going to be back in the swing of things soon. In the meantime don't forget to enter our 2 current contests we have going on.

Learning to Make it to the Restroom....
This pregnancy is the most challenging one yet for one very key thing. Whenever I sneeze or laugh hard out comes the pee. I feel like I have no control over my bladder. I used to have a bladder of steel and now not so much. I have been doing my kegels but still the pee comes. The crazy thing is I never wake up in the middle of the night to pee like many pregnant ladies do. I feel like I might need to invest in some adult diapers to get me through the rest of the pregnancy. There is nothing worse that being away from home and sneezing and then realizing oh no!!!! I hope that the bladder issues don't continue past the pregnancy but you never know.

Swim Lesson Update
The excited feeling has worn off. Everyday he has extreme anxiety about going to his swim lessons. The crazy thing is he is doing so good with swimming but there is one move he is having some difficulty with and apparently this is all it takes. There is normally crying before the lesson and during. It just makes the whole process really difficult. It is one of those things I feel horrible for making him go especially since he is so upset but I know this is a necessity with a pool in our backyard. I am hoping these final days of lessons will make it click for him. The crazy thing is this is how I felt about swimming when I was younger I was terrified of water and swimming. I didn't like water in my eyes. I didn't fully learn to swim until I met my husband and I don't even go underwater partly due to water ear infections. I hope my other children have an easier time swimming.

I Need Shoppers Anonymous
Since finding out that I am having a girl I have been actively shopping for all the cute girl clothes available. It is amazing how many options and adorable outfits there are for girls. I have been really liking Persnickety and Matilda Jane. These are both pretty pricey brands but I want to share with you guys some great ways to get some sweet girls clothing at a discount. I have been frequenting the BST pages for each of the brands I like on Facebook. As long as you are patient you will see some really great deals. It does amaze me how much some of these sellers are asking for used clothing. I also had some luck with consignment sites like threadup and moxie jean. I am going to try to slow down on the shopping now though. Otherwise I think I might need an intervention. It is so much different shopping for little girls than my 2 boys and I think that adds to some of my impulsive shopping. Boys clothes are pretty cut and dry Shirt, shorts, pants, and shoes. I think it has finally set in that I am expecting a little girl. I was so fully expecting a boy this time as well I didn't let myself think of having a girl so it took a couple of weeks for it to set in. Do you have some favorite places to shop for your little one? Do you find yourself getting a little carried away by shopping?
